History

The department of Tolima is located in the western-central area of the country, between the Cordillera Central and The Cordillera Oriental mountain ranges. It has a large climate diversity. This land is made up of plains, valleys, mountains, and is crossed by a river. Thanks to its volcanic soils, it is one of the main specialty coffee-producing regions in Colombia. This organic and fair trade certified cacao is grown by a cooperative. They highlight social projects for the education of young people and environmental projects to promote sustainability. A sustainable cacao awarded with several prizes.
